Today, we’re still one of the few estates in South Africa to grow and vinify this versatile Italian cultivar. Our single varietal Sangiovese has been made in an approachable style – ideal for savouring on its own or enjoying with food and family.

The aromatics are rich and expressive with multiple layers of grapefruit preserve, peach tea, green apple pastille and delicate hints of chamomile, honey and pineapple. In the mouth the wine rolls across the palate with an impressively dense glycerol weight of fruit together with the most delicious tangy mouth-watering acids.
Simonsig Gewürztraminer
An elegant Gewürztraminer with a light golden hue. Expressive aromas of white roses, fresh litchi and sweet tropical fruits. On the palate, layers of poached pear, litchi and candied grapefruit contribute to this complex special late harvest wine. A harmonious palate with fresh acidity, incredible flavour intensity and a subtle sweet finish.
