Rickety Bridge Paulina’s Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon

The Inkara Cabernet Sauvignon is rich, spicy and smokey with hints of mint. It is a very complex wine, expressing soft, round tannins and subtle ripe black fruit.

This full-bodied red wine has aromas of blackcurrant, black cherry, cassis and spices from its 10 months matured in wooden casks. It is sweet-ish and richly textured on the palate, with good supple, dry tannins and a long-lasting savoury finish.

A robust barrel-matured wine with lavish flavours of dark berry fruit and luscious chocolate mingling with herbal touches and a hint of anise seed on the layered complex finish. A youthful wine ready to drink now, but can be cellared.

The colour is deep purple. On the nose you get prominent notes of ripe cherries, blueberries and espresso. The mid-palate is juicy with intense flavours of plums, pomegranate, berries and dark chocolate. This wine is also versatile with food. This Cabernet goes well with braai meats, steak, meaty pastas, smoked chicken and pork.
