Storm Wild Air Sauvignon Blanc

Diemersdal’s reputation for pushing the boundaries with Sauvignon Blanc is expressed in this innovative wine style. After harvest, the juice for this wine was frozen at -20 degrees celsius and kept in this state for five months. It was then thawed and fermented in the heart of the Cape winter, producing a uniquely tropical style of Sauvignon blanc totally unique for South Africa.

This wine welcomes you with a nose of crisp green apple, tropical fruit, flint and lime. The green apple on the palate is accentuated with lemon and lychee. The wine finishes off with a fresh, balanced and broad palate. 

An explosion of tropical fruit on the nose – melon, pineapple, citrus, lichi, and passion fruit. Crisp, light, and easy drinking with a lingering fresh finish.
