A blend of 68% Colombar and 32% Chenin Blanc.
Total of four picks. Wholebunch pressed and settled for 24 hours before being racked into barrel and cement. Natural fermentation and kept on primary lees for 10 months. No fining.

Alheit Cartology
Cartology is a vinous exploration of Cape heritage. It’s intended to be a picture of the Cape seen through the lens of her old vineyards in a given vintage. The cuveé is composed of rare and extraordinary parcels of mature dryland bushvines, of heritage grapes, namely Chenin Blanc and Semilllon. These grapes have been planted in the Cape for centuries. The White Blend presents a bold combination of fruit and freshness that gives the wine excellent length and elegance.
Savage White
The aromatics are rich and expressive with multiple layers of grapefruit preserve, peach tea, green apple pastille and delicate hints of chamomile, honey and pineapple. In the mouth the wine rolls across the palate with an impressively dense glycerol weight of fruit together with the most delicious tangy mouth-watering acids.
