Morgenster Sauvignon Blanc

Diemersdal’s reputation for pushing the boundaries with Sauvignon Blanc is expressed in this innovative wine style. After harvest, the juice for this wine was frozen at -20 degrees celsius and kept in this state for five months. It was then thawed and fermented in the heart of the Cape winter, producing a uniquely tropical style of Sauvignon blanc totally unique for South Africa.

Vibrant and zesty with aromas of blackcurrant, gooseberry and passion fruit layered with subtle mineral tones. Full flavoured with a rich mid-palate, peach and litchi flavours which linger on the finish.

This wine requires no intelligence to drink. Perfect for pool parties and your 1000 closest friends. The centre of attention and often found on the backseat of cars, you won’t believe the bottle is finished and will have to reach for another. A very smooth and fruity wine that doesn’t want to mess with you, with no acidic heartburn or overt greenness after a few glasses.
